The Blue Team Instructor (relocation to Azerbaijan or GCC country)

Job Overview

The Blue Team Instructor is responsible for providing training and instruction to team members on various Enterprise Defences, Network monitoring, SIEM/SOC (Security Information and Event Management/Security Operations Centre) modules, and other security-related topics. The position will be responsible for creating and delivering training materials, leading classroom instruction, and providing one-on-one mentoring to team members.

This is a relocation position to one of our cyber security academies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver training materials and instruction on various Enterprise Defences, Network monitoring, SIEM/SOC modules, and other security-related topics;
• Lead classroom instruction and provide one-on-one mentoring to team members;
• Stay up to date with current industry trends and best practices in the field of security and apply this knowledge to training materials and instruction;
• Assess the effectiveness of training and adjust as needed;
• Collaborate with other members of the security team to develop and implement security policies and procedures;
• Participate in incident response and incident management activities;
• Provide guidance and support to team members on security-related matters.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role or in the field of security;
• Strong knowledge of Enterprise Defences, Network monitoring, SIEM/SOC modules, and other security-related technologies;
• Strong communication and instructional skills;
• Experience with developing and delivering training materials;
• Experience in incident response and incident management;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• CISSP, CISM, or other relevant security certifications are preferred.
